How It Works

To use nüMaps Lifetime, all you need is your Garmin device, your computer and a USB cable. There are no monthly fees or continuing maintenance costs; you pay only once. When you want to update your maps, connect your device to your computer and log into your myGarmin account, where the latest map data is ready to load to your device. Garmin is constantly gathering new map data, and new updates are available up to four times per year.

Garmin nuMaps Lifetime are good for the life of your Garmin GPS unit. NuMaps:

Coverage Map :

Compatibility:
This map update only can be used to update the preloaded maps that came installed on your Garmin device.¹ For example, a device preloaded with North America maps cannot be updated with nüMaps Lifetime Europe, and vice versa.

nüMaps Lifetime gives you full access to the entire map coverage; however, some devices have limited memory and may not load the full North America map (nüMaps Lifetime also will update City Navigator® NT maps on your computer).

Garmin nuvi series, zumo series, aera series, dezl series, StreetPilot i5, c330, c340, c530, c550, c580, 7200, 7500, 2720, 2730, 2820, GPSMAP 478, 640, Quest 2 (Garmin nuMaps can also be used on handheld units that are loaded with a previously unlocked full version of City Navigator North America NT).

Please note: Older units, such as the nuvi 3xx, 6xx series will not have enough memory for all map updates.

¹If your Garmin product does not include, or you do not purchase separately, the map data you want to update using your nüMaps Lifetime subscription, then you must purchase the map data separately before you can load the updated map data onto your Garmin product.
