Our
aim is to provide the highest quality GPS shopping service available
within Canada, and to treat customers and competitors alike
with respect, honesty and good humour. Whether your
priority is competitive prices, exceptional customer service,
extensive product knowledge, a wide range of products in stock,
a realistic return policy or fast and reasonably priced shipping,
we will do our best to provide it all from one proudly Canadian
location.

USER
SHOPPING TIPS:
Compare
the total price for your product. E.g. PST, other taxes,
shipping (no PST in Alberta, our location).
If quick shipment of your order is important, check whether an item
is In stock against minor price differences at other stores. We have most products
IN STOCK and ship fast.
Note that Online auction confirmations of products
from Garmin and other major manufacturers are not accepted
for warranty verification, and Garmin will not replace
missing components from any package purchased through an online
auction.

We
may not be able to match clearance prices or those of
goods being dumped on the local market, but we will attempt
to match any genuine prices for identical items currently
offered for online sale by retail dealers for in stock
items.
In addition, if the price of an item drops from the date that it was purchased, regretfully we cannot provide a price match guarantee (price protection). This is because we already offer the lowest price possible on all our products. These prices fluctuate with market conditions from day to day as well as we do not get advanced notices when suppliers change their price. |

ORDERING
METHODS
You
can place an order with GPS Central online using our secure checkout,
by phone, fax or email, or you can call at our Calgary office
to purchase directly. How do I order?
GST
or HST in participating provinces must be added to all orders. GST
is not charged on orders shipped outside Canada.

Orders: If you prefer to place an order
by fax, please send your requirements
(Quantity, Part Number, Description, and Shipping Method) to 1-403-239-1408 along
with your name, contact phone number, credit card details (card number, expiry
date, and billing address) or other payment information, shipping address and
phone number (if different), and email address if available. Receipt of faxed
orders will be acknowledged by phone or email.
4. Mail Orders: If ordering
by mail is your preference, send your
requirements (Quantity, Part Number, Description and Shipping Method)
to GPS Central, #8, 711 - 48 Ave SE, Calgary AB T2G 4X2.
Please include your name, contact phone number, credit card details
(card number, expiry date, and billing address) or other payment
information, shipping address and phone number (if different),
and email address if available. Receipt of mailed orders will be acknowledged
by phone or email.

Visit our Calgary store: Although
a large part of our business is conducted on the internet,
you are welcome at our Calgary retail store at #8, 711 - 48
Ave SE (on the southeast corner of Blackfoot Tr and 46 Ave
SE). We
have many models available for hands-on use to help you with
your choice, and a huge range of accessories. The
prices we charge in store are the same as our internet prices.
Pre-paid orders can be collected at any time during normal
business hours. Let us know when you plan to pick up your
order so we can have it ready.
PAYMENT
METHODS
We
accept VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, money orders/bank
drafts, wire transfer and RBC direct deposit for payment
from within Canada and USA. Wire transfers are routinely
accepted for international orders.
Cash and Interac payments are also accepted at our Calgary office.
Purchase orders may be accepted from Government Departments
and select other organisations at our option. VISA and MasterCard
payment in US dollars can also be accepted if you prefer. Please
email or phone us if you have questions about ordering, shipping
and payment from outside Canada.
PAYMENT
BY CREDIT CARD:
Please be sure to provide your exact
billing address
and telephone number
(the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file
for you) when you order. Incorrect information will cause
a delay in processing your order. We may use this billing address
information to verify the credit card information you provide and
to receive a transaction authorization approval. Additional verification
may be required for credit card orders charged to international
credit cards or shipped to an address other than your billing address.
A valid signature on file may be required before shipment.
Credit
card orders are billed to the credit card only when the order is
ready for shipment. All orders are manually reviewed and GPS Central
reserves the right to refuse suspicious credit card transactions
or those for which we experience difficulty obtaining bank authorization.
Payment by money order, bank draft or wire transfer may be
accepted in lieu in these cases.
As part of our order processing and for our mutual protection, GPS Central verifies your billing & shipping addresses with your credit card provider. Please be advised, if either of the addresses you provided are not on file with your credit card provider it may delay processing your order.

order has been confirmed via email, this total and our bank account details
will be faxed or emailed to you.

You
may also wire transfer funds to our bank. Once the product and
shipping total on your order has been calculated, this total will
be faxed or emailed to you so you can arrange the transfer of
funds into our account. There is an additional fee of $15 CDN
for all non-RBC wire transfers (this fee is charged to us by the
bank). You will be notified of our bank account number and routing
number at the time your order is confirmed.
PAYMENT

When
you visit our Calgary office you have the options of paying by cash
or Interac.
PURCHASE
ORDERS:
Purchase
orders are accepted from Federal & Provincial Government Departments,
Educational & other institutions as well as from some businesses,
subject to credit approval.
GPS Central Wholesale Division handles sales to resellers.
SHIPPING METHODS CANADA
Canada-wide,
we offer a choice of FedEx and Canada Post shipping services
from Calgary, Alberta, and are able to accommodate special shipping
requirements. The
flat rates cover shipping, packaging, handling, and insurance
for orders including a SINGLE receiver and/or accessories.
We
reserve the right to reduce shipping costs for orders with
low total weight, or to increase shipping costs for orders
with excessive weight, which exceed dimensional weight levels,
or which are being sent to remote areas where shipping rates
are higher than normal.
All shipments we send with a item value of above $100 require
a signature on delivery.

INTERNATIONAL
ORDERS
GPS
Central reserves the right to refuse credit card sales and
shipments to certain countries. Orders are not normally accepted
from countries which do not appear in the country list of
our shopping cart.
At present, we routinely do not accept credit cards for international
orders due to address verification requirements.
Payment may be made via PayPal or wire transfer.
Payment may be made by wire transfer to our bank. Once
the product and shipping total on your order has been calculated, this total
will be faxed or e-mailed to you so you can arrange the transfer of funds into
our account. There is an additional fee of $15 CDN for non-RBC wire transfers
(this fee is charged to us by the bank). You will be notified of our bank account
number and routing number at the time your order is confirmed.
The actual charged rate may depend on the size, weight and value of your
order.
By
selecting an international shipping method you acknowledge that you will accept
charges for any
customs, duties and taxes payable outside Canada. We
suggest that you check with your local customs office for rates prior to ordering
from us. If any international customs, duties or taxes are charged to us, they
will automatically be charged back to your credit card.
BACKORDER
POLICY
COMPLETE
SHIPPING
Our goal is to ship all orders COMPLETE within 24 hours; same day
is our aim if the order is received by 3:00 PM Mountain Time. Orders received after
this cut-off time may be shipped the same day. After you place
the order, log on to your account at any time to check its status. If your order includes an item that is not in stock, your order
will be held for COMPLETE shipment as soon as the item becomes available,
unless you request PARTIAL Shipping (see below).

In stock items will be shipped immediately. Any backordered items in your order will be shipped separately at a later date. Normal shipping rates apply for all shipments.
If your order includes an Advance Order for a yet to be released
product and you request PARTIAL Shipping, the Advance Order will be
treated as a separate order. Normal
shipping rates apply for all shipments.
ORDER
CANCELLATION
If
you need to cancel an order for any reason, please call 1-800-585-9331 or email
for assistance. If your order has not already shipped we will be able to cancel
it for you. If an order has already shipped we will accept a return under the
terms of our Customer Satisfaction Return Policy.
WARRANTY
POLICY
The GPS products
that we sell are covered by a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
In most cases, if you have a functional problem with an item within 15 days
of your purchase, GPS Central will replace the product for you. See Return
Policy,
below. After 15 days from shipment date, the terms of the manufacturer's
warranty apply and you must deal directly with the manufacturer
for warranty issues.
Contact your
Manufacturer for
expert Technical Support or advice about defective items after 15 days
from your purchase date.

offers extended warranties. See Extended Protection Plan here
RETURN
POLICY
HOLIDAY RETURNS
Gifts purchased between now and December 24th, 2011 maybe returned or exchanged until January 31st, 2012. When purchasing a gift online, please make a note in the
FEEDBACK & COMMENTS section that it is a gift and if you need a gift receipt included with your order. To return/exchange items, an RMA number must be requested via email.
RETURN
PROCEDURES
You
MUST request a Return Merchandise Authorization number by
email before returning any items to us (click
here for RMA Request information.)
RMA numbers are valid for 10 business days: the return must reach
us within that time.
The RMA number must appear clearly on the shipping package, and
on a copy of your receipt enclosed with the return.
Please do not use the product box itself as your shipping package.
Please use a return shipping method which issues tracking or identification
numbers and which requires a signature on delivery, so that you
can be assured that the item has been received by our Returns Department.
CUSTOMER
SATISFACTION
Certain items may be returned for refund, credit or exchange
within 15 days of the ship date of the product if returned to us in
as new condition. Exceptions: special order,
clearance and volume purchase items, opened software, opened unlock
certificates, videos or DVD's, data cards,
or GPS models that include software as part of the factory package.
A
restocking fee of up to 15% may apply if the item is not returned
in completely
as new condition.
We reserve the right to refuse a return
on any product that does not meet these requirements. Items
that have the outer packaging damaged in any way or are missing
accessories or packaging materials cannot be accepted for return.
For
a full Customer Satisfaction refund to apply the item itself (with
all data purged from GPS units), all packaging, manuals and original
accessories must not be marked or damaged in any way.
Products
which have had the UPC bar code removed from the package (as when
applying for a rebate) or which have been registered with the manufacturer
cannot be accepted for return.
You must contact us by email for a Return Authorization
Number (click here for Return Authorization
Request information) within 15 days of the ship date of the
product.
Any Customer Satisfaction refund will not include shipping
charges, and you are responsible for return shipping charges.
The Customer Satisfaction Return Period is extended to January
31st for personal retail gift purchases made between November
1st and December 24th - for the Christmas gift season.
Once
we receive an item returned under the terms of our Customer Satisfaction
Return Policy, we will issue a refund within 7 days to the original
credit card, or by cheque if payment was not made by credit card.
Shipping
and Handling Fees are not refundable, unless an order has been incorrectly
shipped by GPS Central.
DEFECTIVE
RETURNS
Items which are found to be defective within 15 days of the
shipment date may be returned to us for replacement (same item only).
After 15 days, the terms of the manufacturer's warranty apply and
you must deal directly with the manufacturer for warranty issues
(see Warranty Policy, above.)
You MUST contact us by email for a Return Authorization Number
(click here for Return Authorization Request
information) within the 15 days.
Shipping costs for defective items are shared: you pay return shipping
costs to GPS Central and we pay for shipment of a replacement item
to you by either Expedited Parcel or Xpresspost (at our option).
If you wish to upgrade the shipping method you may pay the difference
between our standard method and the method of your choice.
Deferred
Replacement: The replacement item can be sent to you at no charge
by either Xpresspost or Expedited Parcel when we receive the defective
item.
Immediate Replacement: If you prefer, we can send
you a replacement immediately (subject to availability). Immediate
replacement would require us to charge your credit card and then
issue a refund upon receipt of the defective item. For most efficient
processing of an Immediate Replacement requirement, please submit
a complete online order for the replacement item, selecting whichever
shipping method you prefer, and note your RMA number in the Comments
field at the end of the Order Form. Replacements for defective items
are normally shipped at our expense by Expedited Parcel or Xpresspost;
this cost of return shipping will be refunded to you along with
the credit for the returned item. If you have upgraded the shipping
method for an Immediate Replacement, the difference between Expedited
Parcel/Xpresspost will not be refunded; shipping charges will not
be refunded if additional items are ordered at the same time.
SOFTWARE
RETURNS
Opened software cannot be returned unless defective. By opening
software, you agree to the license agreement established by the
software publisher and we must abide by these terms. PLEASE MAKE
USE OF ONLINE MAP VIEWERS TO CHECK WHETHER MAP COVERAGE IS SUITABLE
FOR YOUR REQUIREMENTS BEFORE OPENING ANY SOFTWARE PACKAGE!
GPS
/ SOFTWARE BUNDLES
We are not able to accept for return any GPS model that includes
bundled software if the software has been opened or unlocked.
If the
software package has been opened but the CD is unopened and the
software has not been unlocked a 15% restocking fee will be charged.
By opening software, you agree to the license agreement established
by the software publisher and we must abide by these terms. PLEASE
MAKE USE OF ONLINE MAP VIEWERS TO CHECK WHETHER MAP COVERAGE IS
SUITABLE FOR YOUR REQUIREMENTS BEFORE OPENING ANY SOFTWARE PACKAGE!
SPECIAL
ORDER ITEMS
Returns
of items which have been specially ordered for you, or volume purchases
of the same item cannot be accepted.
UNLOCK
CERTIFICATES
Opened Unlock Certificates cannot be returned for refund.
