The
Garmin eTrex Camo is packaged in the same sleek, waterproof
case as the eTrex and eTrex Summit and is decorated with a Realtree
Hardwoods® camouflage print. It
also has a powerful fishing and hunting calculator. With any user-selected
position, this feature will provide recommendations for the best
time of day to fish and hunt.
In
addition to these enhancements, the camo version of eTrex GPS provides
all other features - both hardware and software - that have made
the original eTrex such a success. The eTrex camo offers easy,
one-hand operation with buttons located on each side; logical
operations, using four information pages; proven 12-channel GPS
performance; long battery life (up to 22 hours on two AA batteries);
storage for up to 500 waypoints, including 30 user-configurable
icons from which to choose; and GARMIN's patented TracBack technology
to find your way back to your starting point.
Trip
and Waypoint Management software on all MapSource CDs can be utilised
to transfer waypoints, routes and tracks between PC and the eTrex
Camo. You can plan a route on your PC using the map for reference
and then transfer it to the Camo or upload a series of waypoints
you have recorded on the Camo to your PC to archive or edit and
reload to the receiver.
